Stephanie Mitsuko Lowe

I began Chinese Brush Painting in 2016 after my retirement from the health care field. My first exposure was a class taught by Lisa Curry at my local community center. Lisa has nurtured my every step on this wonderful journey. Through Lisa’s encouragement, I also studied with Jean Chua Shen, Shantien Tom Chow, Ning Yeh, and Mayee Futterman. In October 2017, I had the opportunity to travel with Joy Harvey and complete a month long course in Hang Zhou China at the China Academy of Art.

My work has been exhibited at the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park, the San Diego Botanic Garden, and the San Diego County Fair.

I am so grateful to be able to enjoy this new and stimulating chapter in my life.
