Wendy Nakamura

Wendy focuses on the power and energy of the Asian brush. She has studied both Chinese and Japanese brush painting for over ten years. The masters Qi Baishi and Ito Jakuchu have influenced her art work.

Her work has been exhibited at the Washu Kai Exhibition, Gallery 21 in Balboa Park, and San Diego Buddhist Temple Cultural Bazaar. She has demonstrated painting at the San Diego Fair, Japanese Friendship Garden’s Cherry Blossom Festival, San Diego Botanic Garden, and the Japanese American Friendship Festival.
