Thesa Jolly

Thesa was introduced to Chinese brush painting by her Aunt Doris. She began studying with Jean Shen after moving to San Diego. Clean lines, quiet spaces and the movement of the brush drew Thesa into this ancient art form. She continues to explore the beauty and tranquility of Chinese painting through traditional and modern Chinese themes and techniques.

Her work has been shown in Hangzhou, China, and throughout San Diego, including the San Diego Natural History Museum and Poway Center for the Performing Arts.
